Benefits of practicing yoga outside

I’ve started to take my yoga practice outside a lot more and I feel like my practice has improved from it.  The stability of a flat studio floor is substituted for earth’s rocky and sandy surfaces requiring more concentration in holding poses and balancing.  Breathing in the fresh air has brought and added invigoration to my practice, which has stimulated me to try more challenging poses and go deeper into stretches.  Above all, I feel that practicing outside has been really grounding and has helped me appreciate more the beauty of yoga and the benefits that it can bring to our bodies and lives.
