The Yoga Wheel

I bought a yoga wheel a couple of years ago thinking that it would add a lot to my yoga practice.  It’s a fun little prop to have around, but I haven’t found it to enhance my practice in any significant way.  I have found it to be useful when I want to do a deep chest opener.  The curve of the back molds to the wheel and allows that deeper opening that would be more difficult to achieve without it.  Aside from that, I haven’t used it much.  There are many tutorials out there about different poses to do on the wheel, but, in my experience, I’ve primarily found it to be most useful with the chest openers and that is the extent of it.  I just wanted to share my experience with the yoga wheel in case anyone is curious about adding it to their yoga practice. =)
