Natarajasana or Dancer’s Pose,is one of my favorite asanas to practice when I feel like waking up my body and stretching it out. It helps to target close to every body part and helps to build full-body strength. It releases built up tension in the upper body and stretches out the core and lower body. I generally practice this pose after I practice backbends. I follow this pose up with a reclined twist. It’s a great one to do weekly (or more, if you are ambitious) to improve balance and coordination, in addition to flexibility.
